Dragonfly, a London-based AI startup, has raised £2.6 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate development of its intelligent platform for software discovery and evaluation. The round was led by Episode 1, with participation from Dreamcraft Ventures, Portfolio Ventures, and several angel investors.
Founded in 2024, Dragonfly is building an AI-powered system that helps businesses identify and assess the right software solutions for their needs. The platform streamlines the traditionally manual and time-consuming process of researching and comparing tools, using machine learning to generate tailored recommendations and market insights.

By analyzing product data, customer feedback, and functional capabilities across thousands of SaaS offerings, Dragonfly aims to make enterprise software selection faster, more transparent, and data-driven.
The company’s founders are experienced operators in software and product strategy. They created the platform in response to the exponential growth of the SaaS market, where decision fatigue and fragmented information have become major pain points for teams.
The newly secured funding will be used to expand Dragonfly’s engineering and product teams, refine its AI models, and prepare for a broader commercial rollout.
Investors see Dragonfly’s approach as part of a growing movement toward AI-assisted decision-making platforms, which are increasingly sought after as companies look for smarter ways to manage technology adoption.
